It starts…
This has been a long time coming. At one time, I had a “blog” (back when you could register your own domain name for $30/year and a lucky high-schooler could get an employer who wasn’t afraid to host your site; it was mostly a collection of neat Java apps and some links to fractal-related websites), but the following have gotten in the way since then:
1) Quake III
2) High school
3) College
4) Graduate school
5) Two years of marriage
and
6) WTF do I need a blog?
I’ve never kept a diary of any kind, nor have I had any kind of public forum for discussing the various insanities that flow through my mind (beyond some chance conversations at local bars). In the last few months, things have changed. I’ll detail the nuances of these changes later, but for now suffice it to say that I’m no longer content to read things on the internet and newspapers (just kidding–no one reads newspapers anymore).
